The following article breaks my heart in so many ways, when will we, not only wake up, but act. The human species is a co-inhabit-or of this beautiful planet and we have a responsibility to share it with all species that have been given the privilege of life on Mother Earth. Our legacy as a species cannot be one of destruction, entitlement and greed.

Here is my brief 10 point plan to address the growing debate on recreational drug use within Australia. I believe it's time for a new discussion to take place. I don't have the answers, just some thoughts and ideas that maybe are worth exploring.
I do not advocate recreational drug use, however, I'm also not blind to the reality of what is happening in our communities and who is controlling the manufacture, importation and distribution of recreational drugs to our citizens, especially our beautiful young people.
Maybe it's time to rethink this whole issue from a totally different angle.
So here are my thoughts:
Let's take this industry (yes it is an industry, illegal as it is at present) out of the hands of scumbag criminal groups who have no duty of care. Let's support our community, especially our young people instead of trying to lecture them into submission. Let's remove the need to go underground into the criminal world to experiment and use.
Recreational drugs are not going to go away, so maybe it's time to rethink this whole scenario. If our people want to experiment with recreational drugs, let them, but let them do it in a safer context (I don't believe pill testing goes far enough), with our total support and in a way that minimises ALL the risks.
Today, I was here.
However, I get told I should be there, where is there?
How do I know when I'm there, because when I think I've reached there I'm here, then I get told again that I should be there, where? Not here!
I really want to be here, not there, but where is here, is it there?
I want to settle in here, but everywhere I look, someone or something is telling me that there is where.
Then there are times when I don't feel like I'm here. In fact, at those times, I feel that I'm there.
Why is there better than here? If not here, then where?
Is there where I go after here, or does there become here, or is it that here becomes there, but where?
So if here is in fact there and where is here, then I must be here.
So please stop telling me to be there, because I'm already here, that's where, here.
