The central irony lies in the fact that happiness is not an external entity that needs to be pursued. It is an inherent, internal state of mind that only needs to be recognised and cultivated. We often tend to overlook this fundamental truth, searching in the outside world for what is actually residing within us. Let's dissect this idea further. 1. Happiness as a State of Being Happiness is not a destination to reach or a prize to be won. It's a state of being, a perspective, a chosen attitude. It lies in the mundane moments of life as much as in the extraordinary. Happiness is the gentle hum of satisfaction that follows a good meal, the serenity felt during a walk-in nature, or the subtle joy of a pleasant conversation with a dear friend.
